Our cabin is on North Twin Lake which is a part of a 2 lake chain with South Twin Lake.  Both lakes make up over 3400 acres of water. The lake has lots of pan fish, but is known for its Musky and Walleye fishing. It also offers great Ice fishing. The Conover / Eagle River area is a unique blend of forests, lakes, and rivers, offering a variety of Northwoods recreation for people of all ages. Ruffed Grouse, Canadian Geese, and an assortment of ducks can also be found on the well detailed hunting and hiking trails and area lakes.

With 8 major lakes, the Wisconsin River and numerous smaller lakes and streams, the Conover / Eagle River area provides endless hours of delightful water sports. Fishing is one of the favorite forms of recreation in the area. Year round, the lakes offer opportunities for the serious as well as the beginning angler. Whether your after a trophy Musky, catching a mess of pan fish with the kids, or watching tip-ups on the frozen water, your success will exceeded only by your enjoyment.

Come September the Northern forests burst into a color splendor. Colorama races through the forests painting a dazzling panorama of bright reds, golden yellows, and fiery oranges. The days become bright and clear and the woodland trails and forest roads call one to explore and hike or hunt.

Come Winter you can discover the exhilaration of a winter wonderland. There are over 70 miles of groomed snowmobile trails along which link up to over 500 miles of trails in Vilas County. Anyone can easily travel North into the nearby Upper Peninsula of Michigan or head a few miles South to watch the World Championship Snowmobile Derby in Eagle River. We invite everyone to join us this Winter season to experience what is nationally recognized as the best snowmobiling in the Midwest.
